Jacob Kajrup

Jacob Kajrup, a Swedish native, possesses an innate understanding of shape and form honed through an upbringing immersed in the arts and a background as a musician. His early venture into beauty school laid the groundwork for what would become a dynamic career in hairdressing, marked by a distinctive blend of creativity and technical precision.

Kajrup’s formative years were spent under the mentorship of Rudi Lewis, during which he simultaneously served as an Art Director for Stockholm’s acclaimed salon, SureBabyYes. This dual role was instrumental in refining his quick-thinking artistry and technical expertise, earning him recognition on a global scale. 

His editorial work is frequently featured in the pages of Document Journal, M le Monde, and various editions of International Vogue, where his ability to sculpt and style is showcased in its full breadth. Kajrup’s commercial collaborations include industry leaders such as H&M, FFORME, Valentino, and Zara. 

Currently based in Paris, Jacob Kajrup continues to innovate, bringing his sharp eye and nuanced understanding of imagery to every project he undertakes.
